2009-2010 Lessons Schedule

Jersey Gators Swim Team offers SwimAmerica swimming lessons at the Blair Academy Wallace Pool, Blairstown, to school-aged children ages 5 and up. Lessons are offered two times per week for three weeks each month. Sessions are for two months. Students registering in the middle of a session will be prorated. Mixing sessions is permissable if available, for example, January & February.

Over the years we have noticed that school-age children have a great many activities they wish to participate in. In addition, we have noticed that children tend to miss a session every three to four weeks. We restructured the program to allow a child to participate in six sessions a month for two months and be able to also participate in those other activities which demand their time. By structuring this way we also feel the child will progress somewhat faster because of the increase in the repetition and frequency of the lessons. Also a family has a greater number of sessions available during the year to choose from.

The starting dates are listed below. These dates are subject to change, and pre-registration for all sessions is required to reserve your position in the class.

Fees

Registration fee: $65 per child; each session: $75 per child (2x/week for 1 months) and $150 per child (2x week for 2 months)

Note: Registration fee is annual, September through August.
